What is TWRP

What is TWRP
Sometimes we often hear the name TWRP & CWM in when going to install Os or Os upgrades or repair damaged OS system files, of course Android devices already have access rights (root) or to root & flash firmware.

For those who wrestle in the design of the Android system or people who are hobby of copying / creating (oprekers) in the Android system, then the name TWRP & CWM already sounds strange to him.

But for those of us who are new to the Android system and just learning about Android, the name will be very foreign to our ears. Often times we are curious & look for it in the google page about what the TWRP & CWM is? & what is the TWRP & CWM for?

Broadly speaking, the TWRP & CWM function is the same, which is the same for Recovery or recovery, installation & so on for Android devices, every Android has perfect default recovery (factory). It's just that TWRP & CWM is different according to the design aspect or just looks and devices that support using recovery have also made a slight difference.

TWRP & CWM can we install in an Android phone in Recovery mode which is effective for backing up firmware / stock ROM if there is a boot failure (bootloop) after editing the Android system or changing Os & can restore or restore to the previous system and still use the utility- other uses in each dish.

Let us learn together about the understanding of TWRP & CWM, hopefully our insights will increase along with reading & can mention if our friends arise who ask questions, of course along with the language that is easily understood and understood by him.

1. TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project). TWRP is an abbreviation according to Team Win Recovery Project. Where the team or the developer / developer does the design in the system recovery mode android to make it easier for users to do the restoration or installation of Os which is open source costum (open) which has a display or interface that can be operated along with touchscreen without using the volume button & power or home to select & execute selected dishes (after entering Recovery Mode).

TWRP has features that already support the installation of ROM, Kernel, Add-Ons, (GAPPS), and other mods, and supports Backup, restore, system, boot, user data, cache, dalvik cache, & internal storage and can transfer archives through MTP, manager archives, & terminal emulators and still use other uses.

2. CWM (Clock Word Recovery). CWM is an abbreviation according to the Word Recovery Clock. Where the CWM design is almost like the original recovery (factory default recovery / cellphone), it's just that the difference is more poly features. And to operate it must use the volume & power button or home to execute the selected dish. For the same purpose / function as well as TWRP, the only difference is the display / interface and its features. CWM is already poly that installs it on Samsung Android phones & so on.
In terms of recovery, TWRP & CWM is an implementation that can both facilitate the same operation & execution in an Android device & system.

In installing recovery, TWRP or CWM should first match the Android device, whether the Android device or OS system that we use or not support or mod recovery. If the support along with CWM & the performance of the device is stable (bugsfix) it will not be wrong if we install CWM, so does the reverse. Although sometimes to install it all depends on the preference that we become users who want to install which TWRP or CWM.

Maybe that's just the discussion this time about the understanding of TWRP & CWM and its use in Android devices / systems. We apologize if poly mistakes in every word according to my clarification, because here we both learn & make knowledge together.
